Poundstretcher Brings Back the Bargains to Whittlesey

Catherine Burke |

We've officially opened our doors in Whittlesey, and we're delighted to be bringing the bargains back to High Causeway!

Our brand-new store opened on Friday, October 9th, taking over the former The Original Factory Shop premises and creating up to 15 jobs for the local community.

We were thrilled to welcome Mayor Alex Miscandlon, who joined us to officially open the store and celebrate the occasion. To make the morning even more special, our first 100 customers through the doors received a FREE goody bag!

There's plenty to discover in-store, with fantastic bargains across clothing, DIY, gardening, health and beauty, home décor, snacks, storage, pet essentials, sweets and drinks. Whether you're stocking up on everyday essentials or popping in for a browse, there's something for everyone.

The opening marks another exciting step in our ongoing UK expansion, and we're so pleased to be part of the Whittlesey community.

Andy Atkinson, Chief Executive Officer of Poundstretcher, said: “Household budgets remain under pressure, so we are committed to expanding our store network and making it easier for even more people to access great products at great prices. We're thrilled to be opening in Whittlesey and can't wait to welcome shoppers through our doors on High Causeway.”

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our opening day. We look forward to welcoming even more of you in-store soon!
