Returns & Refunds

In-Store Returns Policy

You can exchange or get a refund on unused items returned within 28 days of purchase. All we ask is that the item comes back to us in its original packaging, in a resalable condition and with a valid proof of purchase. Sadly, due to health and hygiene, unless faulty, there are a few exceptions and we’re sure you’ll understand. We can’t offer an exchange or refund on liquids, food items, pierced jewellery items, face coverings, underwear, or swimwear (if the hygiene label has been removed), fragrances, cosmetics, bedding, pillows, mattresses, hats and hair accessories, batteries, light bulbs, toilet seats and toiletries.

Also, if any returned products were part of a multi-buy promotion, then all of them must be returned.

You’ll need a copy of your receipt or proof of purchase for both an exchange and a refund.

If the item is faulty, please return the item to your local store in a reasonable timeframe. If you have your receipt, our store colleagues can issue you with a refund. If you no longer have your receipt, and our team can recognise the item was purchased from us, we’ll exchange it for you.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations

The UK's Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations provide members of the public the opportunity to deposit their old items for recycling with the aim of the reducing the number of electrical items that are disposed of in landfill sites or burnt.  Such equipment can pose potential adverse effects on the environment and human health due to the presence of hazardous substances and therefore correct disposal is essential.  The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that a product can be recycled as part of the WEEE Regulations and should not be disposed of in your bin.

We offer customers buying new electrical equipment from us free take-back of their old items on a like-for-like basis in our stores.  You can simply take your unwanted items to any of our stores within 28 days of purchasing the new product provided you take a receipt as proof of a like-for-like purchase.

If you decide not to bring back your unwanted items to store then the website www.recyclenow.com contains information relating to WEEE, including the location of the local council waste collection sites for waste electrical items.

The Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations

Under the Waste Battery Regulations, we are now offering a take-back scheme for all portable waste batteries.  Alternatively, you can find your local waste portable battery recycling facility at www.recyclenow.com
