Hailsham, we're here! Friday, October 9th marked an exciting day as we welcomed our very first customers to our brand-new Poundstretcher store in The Quintin's Shopping Centre.
Taking over the former Poundland premises, our new store has brought a fresh selection of fantastic bargains to the heart of Hailsham, alongside creating up to 10 new jobs for the local community.
We were delighted to have Deputy Mayor Colin Mitchell join us for the official opening, helping us celebrate the big day. There was an extra treat in store for our early shoppers too, with the first 100 customers receiving a FREE goody bag to take home!
From big-name brands and everyday essentials to those unexpected little finds, our shelves are filled with great-value products across home décor, health and beauty, clothing, DIY, gardening, pet essentials, snacks, sweets and much more.
Our arrival in Hailsham is part of our continued plans to bring Poundstretcher to more towns and communities across the UK, making it even easier to enjoy the brands you love at prices worth smiling about.
Andy Atkinson, Chief Executive Officer of Poundstretcher, said: “Household budgets remain under pressure, so we are committed to expanding our store network and making it easier for even more people to access great products at great prices. We're thrilled to be opening in Hailsham and can't wait to welcome shoppers through our doors at The Quintin's Shopping Centre.”
Thank you, Hailsham, for making us feel so welcome! We're excited to be part of the community and can't wait for you to discover everything our new store has to offer.
