A new wholesaler clearance shop is due to open this October, as Poundstretcher launches 'Bargain Buys Clearance Shop' at their Distribution Centre site.
- Local businesses can buy-in-bulk across Home, Garden, Household Essentials, Bathroom, Kitchen, Pet and DIY ranges at wholesale prices.
- Bargain Buys Clearence Shop is located on site at Poundstretcher's Distribution Centre (LE9 2BJ) in West Leicestershire, next to Desford and will open for trade at 9am on Monday 5 October 2026.
- Bargain Buys is a part of Poundstretcher Limited, with over 300 stores nationwide in the UK.
Stocking ranges at wholesale prices, the new cashless store will open at 9am on Monday 5 October offering an alternative for local businesses.
The former 3000sqft warehouse has been converted into a customer-facing store with regular opening hours Monday to Wednesdays, 9am-3pm each week.
With hundreds of product ranges, items will be sold in cases as part of the retailer's 'When It's Gone, It's Gone' campaign.
Recent pressures on household budgets have seen a trend towards customer's sourcing cheaper prices through wholesaler prices and the Clearance Shop presents a new avenue for Poundstretcher to reach both customers and businesses.
Andy Atkinson, CEO at Poundstretcher said: "The concept came after we were approached by several local businesses, and so we've acted quickly to get this store up and running and ready to trade. It's a fantastic way to continue to offer stunning value and quality products at affordable prices for a new customer base.
"We've opened 16 new stores since June 2026 alone across the UK, and so it's rewarding to open a brand-new venture on our own doorstep here at our Support Office.
"For local businesses and wholesalers, this is a smashing offering. We buy products every day from around the world and now our commercial customers can benefit from our vast range, and at even better cost."
