Great news for bargain hunters in Crewkerne! Poundstretcher has officially opened its doors on Market Street, bringing a fantastic range of branded and non-branded bargains back to the town.
Taking over the former Poundland unit, the new store opened at 9am on Friday 30th October, with Mayor Alice Samuel joining the celebrations to welcome Poundstretcher to the community.
There was plenty to celebrate, with the first 100 shoppers through the doors receiving a FREE goody bag!
The new store is packed with fantastic finds across a wide range of departments, including clothing, DIY, gardening, health and beauty, home décor, snacks, storage, pet products, sweets and drinks. There's plenty to explore, with great-value products for every corner of your home.
The opening also brings a welcome boost to local employment, with up to 10 new jobs being created in the Crewkerne community.
The excitement didn't stop at the grand opening. Crewkerne shoppers were also able to get involved in Poundstretcher's £54,000 Halloween 'Winning Weekend' giveaway.
On Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October, lucky shoppers had the chance to win a £10 Poundstretcher voucher every hour between 9am and 6pm, with winners selected at the till!
The new Crewkerne store forms part of Poundstretcher's ongoing UK expansion plans, helping bring fantastic products and everyday value to even more communities.
